How do I get my wireless laptop to connect to the internet through Actiontec GT704WG?

I got an Antiontec GT704WG from Verizon DSL and connected fine to the internet with my desktop, but can't connect with my laptop. It has a wireless card, the Actiontec recognizes it on the network, but I can't connect to the internet.
Verizon was not able to help me at all.

Verizon doesn't seem to be able to help anyone... whoever made your laptop should be able to guide you straight.
