Geez, it's one after another after another...

You can't go a full hour on without somebody complaining about viruses on their PC, yet they keep buying PCs! If you don't want viruses, don't use a virus platform. Get a Mac. It can run Windows if you really need to run a particular application, but you'll prefer using OS X for its ease of use and its much better security. No need for AV software when you're not running Windows.

Reinstall windows. You can muck around with removal tools and custom fixes for days or weeks before you finally manage to eliminate some of today's peskier viruses. Just bite the bullet and reinstall, it will save you a lot of time.

look for an anti virus called NOD 32. It is excellent and should solve your problem. IF not then think you might have to format your hard disk. you should start backing up your special information, that way you will not loose the content or special info you might want to keep.

Go here and do a free scan. http://www.trendmicro.com Run "House Call" and it should be able to remove the viruses. If it can't, it should give instructions on how to do it manually. Do this before you go and reinstall your OS. Only reinstall the OS as a last resort. And if you have to do that, just remember to tell it to install on C:/ drive.

I agree with Fremen. Start up in safe mode and see if your anti-virus software has quarantined the virus files. If it has, you can just go in and remove them.
