I am receiving e-mail from someone who says she lives in a small town in Russia. I am trying to find out if that's true or iif it is coming from Moscow.How can I find out if she is for real or if she is a scam?

First of all, if you are using hotmail or yahoo, you need to go into options and under the message or mail display settings, you have to enable full headers. If you are using outlook express, when you have the message open, click on file, properties then the details tab. It will give you ip information.

Next you need an ip tracing program or you can go through an ip tracing site:

http://www.dnsstuff.com/

Put their ip in the appropriate box and it will tell you where the email originated from. However if they are using a US yahoo or hotmail address, it won't work since their servers are in the US.
