Why does my laptop charges only when i put the printer usb into the laptop, and it doesn't charge when i put the power cord on it. Will some please help me with problem.

I just downloaded GIMP yesterday... I can figure out a tiny portion of the program, but for the most part, I'm lost.

Is there any good tutorials out there for GIMP, that requires no previous knowlegde of the program?

when i go to open my site, some nasty little porn sites pop up. not funny since i'm a nice lady who just went through a long divorce battle. so, despite the fact that i'm single once again and once and awhile loneliness sets in . . . I'M NOT VISITING ANY PORN SITES. so . . . how do i get block, get rid of them? when i go to control panel, i see a very long list of xp hot fix(es) . . . a long list.

WHENEVER I OPEN AN E-MAIL, IT LOADS, BUT WITH ERRORS AND ONCE OPEN, I CAN NOT FORWARD, REPLY, MOVE IT TO A FOLDER, OR DELETE IT. I CAN GO BACK TO ALL MY MAIL AND CHECK THE BOX AND THEN DELETE OR MOVE IT TO A FOLDER, BUT THE ONLY THING I CAN DO TO GET AROUND THE SITUATION IS TO CUT AND PASTE IF I WANT TO FORWARD THE MESSAGE. (IN MY GERERAL PREFERENCES, I HAVE CHECKED PLAIN TEXT FOR COMPOSING.

I have searched online and came across no conclusive answers...
I have a dvd that is only about 3 years old and I've watched it several times (ok lots of times). Now, it seems to either be stalling or pixelating (or both). I am quite careful in handling my dvds. I have tried cleaning it (even though there are no apparent scratches), cleaning the DVD player and I have played it on 3 different players with the same results. Do DVDs wear thin with use like a VHS tape? I have thought of making copies of each and every one of my dvds, but since I have over 700, that seems like too big of a chore.

when i was live updating the norton system works. the product key came out. and i thought it was useless so i closed the window. right now, the software is asking for product key. where else can i find it? i couldnt even find it inside the cd anymore. pls help me.
