What you mean is that you want to delete the history of your visits to websites that are stored in the address line.
In your Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" and click on it.In the box that appears, go to "Delete History" which you'll see towards the bottom there and click on it. Then click on Apply and OK.
Your "addresses" will have disappeared from the address bar.
This should resolve your issue.
Cheers
PS,
while you're doing this, you might also want to first "Delete Cookies" and "Delete files" by clicking on the buttons there. While clicking "Delete files", remember to click the tick mark in to the empty box on the next page that appears where it asks you whether you want to delete all offline content and then click OK.
This will get rid of a lot of junk you accumulate and keep your comp healthy and fast.

if you speak of the history when you browse the address bar and see what you have previousively been i shoud say that you go to tools in the browser and internet options and clear history
works every time
also to make your computer run alittle faster delete the cookies and the temporary internet files but about the temporary internet files command when you click on the command to delete them make sure you check off the prompt that reads delete all offline content

Using Internet Explorer, look at the top and you will see File, Edit, etc, and Tools. Click on Tools, at the very bottom you will see Internet Options, click on that. A block will pop up, near the bottom click on the button that says Clear History. That's it.
