how can i prevent this from happening?

invalid system time?

i am trying to launch a game and i receive a message"invalid system clock"go to local time settings and adjust
i have gone to both time settings 1)in control panel ")in cmos ,and both are correct
what is the problem with this,it has happened with 2 games up to now,but all others are ok
any ideas?

I sent my computer to the ITS to be fixed, but when it came back, I had white lines on the screen?

My computer and monitor were both purchased new in 2002, and I haven't had any problems at all until now. The white lines are really only noticible on a white background where's there's text. The guy from ITS said it's because the computer's old, but why did it only start now then?

How do I set up a sub net mask or IP address? And where?

I appreciate the help you're giving! Have checked settings (no proxies, broadband). I see pic only when I have signed in and have selected "My Webcam." If the error message reads "A network error occurred while connecting to the server," should the provider, the camera manufacturer, or Yahoo have the information? Which should I contact. And if it's Yahoo, HOW? This is a setup that works on Circuit City's in-store wireless network; the camera was set up and configured on my computer by CC's tech guy. When that working setup tries to connect to my Roadrunner, I get the error stated.

I have someone who has tried spying on me and what I have been doing on the computer that we both used.?

I no longer use it because he was able to get my password from it.Ok,this is my question,since the spying etc.I have been using another computer in the house,he doesnt have access to it.He called today asking to use the laptop,the one I use,so that he can plug it into the printer in order for him to download his resume.Can he be sneaky and try to get info off this one by doing this?

okai.. i had to reinstall my windows xp so all my files and things got deleted and im not sure what information if any is still on my computer from before the xp reinstallation..sooo

my itunes got deleted as well and now when i plug my ipod nano in it comes up thers no songs in the library but theres songs on the ipod how do i delete the songs off my ipod :S?
