Tell him to go to Kinko's or the local internet cafe and download and print it out there. After what happened I wouldn't let him use any of your computers.

1. If you set up accounts did you make them limited or did you make them administrative. Iif they are admin, he can see your stuff and vice versa.
2. Did you password your master admin account (the one you access through safe mode via F8 at startup)? If not he may be getting in that way.

3. Do you have a good reputable antivirus on your system that can catch keyloggers? There are some spying programs that people can obtain freely, that run completly invisible on your system (you won't know AT ALL). If not try this one(it catches almost any kelogger out there) Kaspersky. USe the online scan.

4. If your really paranoid, password the bios. That way he won't even be able to see the windows login, keyloggers won't work to retrieve that password and he'll be (to put it nicely) **** out of luck?

5. last but not least... CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS! Never keep the same one for a long time. If you ever go to a school or business, you know that they periodicly get you to change the password (every 2-3 months is the standard) for security reasons.

Hope this helps!

If he knows what he is doing, sure. You can password protect certain folders and directories to keep prying eyes out. XP as a feature that does this and you can also download applications that do the same and some can be had for free. My question would be why does he need to the laptop top print a resume?

I appears he wants access to your laptop to install a Keylogger program. He might have installed a Keylogger on your laptop and wants to get a printout of your usage on it. A keylogger will show him everything you have done on the computer. Every keystroke will be printed. This is how he get passwords and other information. This is probably what he did to the other computer. Since you are not using the other computer, you should do a Reformat of it. This will get rid of any spyware he installed on it.

Once you do that, set it up with you as the Admin and learn how to make a Strong password to protect it. This MicroSoft site has great info on making and using strong passwords.

Sure. What you need to do is tell him he no longer has access to your personal computer, as he has been prying into your personal information and this invasion of privacy is a breach of trust.

Absolutely! Ask him where the file of his resume is and email it to him. He can open it with the old spy computer, hook that one up to the printer, and have at it.
