i am trying to launch a game and i receive a message"invalid system clock"go to local time settings and adjust
i have gone to both time settings 1)in control panel ")in cmos ,and both are correct
what is the problem with this,it has happened with 2 games up to now,but all others are ok
any ideas?

I suspect that the software is attempting to estimate the speed of the computer...
The system clock is a measure of how fast the system runs. The game probably uses this to slow itself down on faster machines, so that the game speed would be more or less the same on an 80386sx16 machine or a PIII 600.
It's probably not equipped to deal with the speed it detects on your current machine.
If my explanation seems plausible, then try the link below - it looks like a possibility...

What was the time when you installed the game ? This could be related... also if it is very old game they may don't like to be in 200* (190*)
