seach engines only find the first page of my website. How do I get them to look at other pages?

try submiting sitemaps for your website.

it always helps to post the site because it's easier to tell why this is happening if you can post the link.

To find out what a search engine has indexed for a site run a search with this term:

site:www.mysite.com

look to where it says how many results were found, if there are very few (1 or 2) there is a problem.

Ask yourself:

are you using flash / imagemaps / javascript for navigation?

one of the biggest issues with pages failing to get indexed is an issue where the search engine spider can't find your links. In order to get indexed the navigation should use anchor links such as:

You mean how to list your page on the 1st page, 2nd page, ...

Usually people don't look at 2nd and 3rd page. They pay those search engines to list thier page on the first page result of the search engine...

for google make an xml site map and submit it to google. for others make an html site map with that pages.
get more external links for pages from inseide your site (not only for your home index)
do not cheat
try to keep the code and design clean
