I was wondering how to find hidden files on a computer without the other person knowing. I came across a few things and now I'm wondering what else there is I haven't seen, without them knowing.

I used an automatic installer program I bought on Ebay to install Windows. After the install, the internet connection seemed slower than normal, but I thought it may have been due to Norton. I removed one of the user accounts and checked the delete all files option, but on pervious restarts Windows kept going to that account and gave a message saying the password was incorrect. I was then redirect to the other account. I have used various online scans to find a virus etc. and have found nothing. So I do a clean reinstallation of Windows? If I should reinstall, what are the steps and format options?

My screen goes black when I turn it on, but the computer doesn't actually go off. The screen thinks the computer is off, but its not. I have no idea how to make my computer stay on long enough to even look for it. Does anyone know what kind of virus this is or what may be going on?

Allright my problem is that when I am on the internet pictures don't show up. It just shows an empty gray box. Do you know what my probelm is or how to fix it.

I have Yahoo! Messenger w/Voice. To use Messenger LIVE, the instructions say to go to add contact (+), select ID, go to network and select "Windows Live". My drop down only shows "Yahoo!Messenger" and "LSC". What is LSC?
Also, is Msngr LIVE just the ability to connect with users with a MSN id and nothing else? I don't know anyone with a MSN id so this application, Msnger LIVE, probably would not benefit me, correct? Thanks.

I will be setting up 2003 SBS with DNS, Exchange, FTP & Web server, file server, etc. Should these services be installed on separate servers, or will it be ok with them all on the same machine? If all on same machine, should they all be on separate hard drives, etc?

I want to build my own computer, and I recently passed an A+ certification course...so there's no problem there.

I can't find a singe motherboard that will match with the back of a case. That is fit, cause you know the stuff on the back of board has to meet up with the holes on the back of the case.

All the motherboards have their USB ports on the bottom, just above the speaker/mic ports. All the cases, however, have the USB port 'holes' just below the Ps2 ports at the very top of the case.

It's a little frustrating going through all the products, trying to find a match...so is it possible remove that backing on the case, so that I can just fit the motherboard in?

It's wierd, cause they're selling premade start up kits...which of course are cheap trash...but they're using the products on the site...those motherboards and cases I talked about earlier.

I graduated 2 years ago and moved to another city where it took me 10 months to find a job. Now i work as tech support in a good company but everyone around me has an MIS degree or other degree...i feel like i could probably do better than now. I am not making as much as I think I should get. I do not like programming as much.Which other jobs should I look at, or what other certifications should i do to improve my marketability. I was an honors student in my school.

Every time I go on the internet a link to an adult porno site also loads up and re-directs my homepage to their site.How can I get rid of it? I have tried downloading"HIJACK THIS"and run it. I sent a file log to the site and they told me they couldn't trace which of the entries was causing the problem. Can anyone else help?

Some data I am entering has a lot of the letter O and many number zero (0). It would be a lot easier to read if the zero had a line thru it. If there is a font that does this, I could just change fonts.
