Every time I go on the internet a link to an adult porno site also loads up and re-directs my homepage to their site.How can I get rid of it? I have tried downloading"HIJACK THIS"and run it. I sent a file log to the site and they told me they couldn't trace which of the entries was causing the problem. Can anyone else help?

go with ewido, download it from the link above. install it.
then restart you computer to safe mode do this by:
1.rebooting you computer
2.when you here the first beep press F8 a couple of times
3. when windows displays the new menu choose safe mode (using the arrow keys and pressing enter)
4. log on as "administrator"
5 run "ewido" and choose full scan
i only say the as sometime ewido does miss things when run as a normal user

Next, install a trial version of Ewido from the same site - it's fully functional for 30 days, after which it loses some of it capabilities unless you purchase the full version

In hijack this are there any R0 entries. Check these and hit the fix button.
Once you have that done you need to install and run cwshredder, spybot search & destroy and ad-aware. All these are availabe from:

you have a .dll file in your computer that loads everytime you start up internet explorer. security task manager can detect running .dll files that hi jack your internet explorer and delete them. im me if you want the program.
