memory for your computer is a physical piece of hardware that goes inside of your computer in one of the (most common) 3 empty slots on your mother board. you can get memory for your computer at places like best buy, circuit city, comp usa & office depot.

if you want to create a flash page for a website you will need a flash program like macromedia flash 5, flash 6, flash mx, etc...

depending on your computer, usually you can add the RAM yourself. You cannot boost the processor speed though, no one can. best to buy a new computer. I have added RAM myself. You will just need to look on the web for the company of your computer, and look for the computer manual or something like that. macintosh comes with instructions when you buy it, I dont know about the other companies. sometimes if you buy stuff from ebay new, they will instruct you on how to install it.

when I installed mine, there wasnt much to do except disconnect the battery, unplug, take out the old memory, put in the new one. dont touch the metal parts, and make sure you are not charged yourself. put it in. close it up, and the computer shoudl automatically see it. you may need to update the firmware and your operating system too. for laptops, you need to balance your memory cards, you have two slots. so if you buy 500 mb of RAM you need to buy two 250 cards. yes, you take the old ones out and you lose that ram. so its really a replacement of ram, not an addition. If you arent sure, go to comp-usa and pay them $20 to do it for you.
