I'm getting a new computer/laptop and was wondering which one I should get. I do alot of stuff with listening to and recording music (windows programs haven't done well 4 recording). I also do school work and use the internet alot. I do alot of IMing and watch videos online. will mac minis (the more expensive version of it) work for that or should I stick to windows? plz give honest answers from experience. thnx

I receive a reply back from the IP address 211.23.166.34
My question is, how does this work? I'm not aware of any registrars that offer a .0042 domains?

I have some annoying programs that have attached themselves to my start menu. Whenever I start the computer there they are. I want them gone from the start menu....just not deleted from the computer. Some examples: QUICKTIME, AIM, IPOD and some music program. I do not even know how to tell what is in there.

How do I accomplish my mission? (In easy to follow steps, please!)

Hi. I have a Pentium 3 notebook running on 800MHZ, 20GB, 512 MB RAM and Windows ME.

I have difficulty selling it and can't afford at the moment to upgrade it to XP version.

Any suggestion what i could do with it effectively?

i do have in mind of using it for web design purposes but i am not too sure it will fix the current version of IE, Firefox, netscape and Opera browser) and webdesign freeware. Any views on this?

I am not sure if it could support wireless internet access, if yes, how, so i can have free access at the mac donald outlet near my house.

Or should i change the OS to a linux. Ang free linux os to recommend, is red hat free and a top choice?

I just received one of those e-mails from the paypal scammers -- I've noticed that a lot of these e-mails are using non-standard IP addresses (ie. not the standard 8bit quad). An example is http://0323.0027.0246.0042
What type of IP address is this? IPv6?

What I need is a program that will work with windows xp profiles. What I would like is for unrestricted access on my profile, but when I log off and the children log on, it restricts their access. All the programs I have seen so far work under one profile, and creat sub-profiles for different users. Does anyone know of software that will work for me this way?
