What I need is a program that will work with windows xp profiles. What I would like is for unrestricted access on my profile, but when I log off and the children log on, it restricts their access. All the programs I have seen so far work under one profile, and creat sub-profiles for different users. Does anyone know of software that will work for me this way?

We blocker allows parental blocking by profile if you wish. Its free to download.

There are settings in Windows XP itself for this.
Go to Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and look at the settings there. Set up your account as an Administrator account and your childrens' accounts otherwise, restricted as you so wish.

You can't emulate parents with a computer. If you just want the kids to use the computer as a toy, buy a toy computer -- a Macintosh.
