Here's what I'm doing.... I have a site for my family where they can e-mail pictures to me and then I put them on the family site. LOTS of work for me!!! Well.... I'd like for them to have their own user name & password... then they can log in, upload their pictures and the page will immediately and automatically make their photos viewable to visitors.

I've pretty much figured out how to get the upload part of this.... and am now trying to figure out how to make my webpage automatically update with the new pictures.

I've found some tutorials on the user/password part so am really only needing help with the auto update. Links to useful sites or info you have is much appreciated. OR tell me the scripts I should be searching for. And.... pretend I'm 5 when you explain this. :) THANKS A BUNCH!!!!

What do you think of them? I have them and I am using them but not really in love with them, it came with my notebook. I don't know why but when I am using word perfect I can be typing and all of a sudden the curser jumps up to another paragraph and I am typing into the previous paragraph.

I posted my cell phone to sell one ebay, and I ALMOST fell victim to a fraud. This person agreed to buy the phone but said that they would send payment to my paypal account. The person said to contact her via email when I received the confirmation email and that she would have the phone picked up by fed-ex. Well, the e-mail that I received said that the transaction could not be completed until I provided customer service the tracking number of the package. Luckily for me, I called paypal to figure out how to do this for their site did not have any information about completing this. The customer service rep told me that it was a prank--that the email didn not come from paypal--and that the person was going to take my cell phone and not pay me. So far, I have reported the person to paypal, to ebay, to the fbi internet crime site, and yahoo (since they used a yahoo account to stay in contact with me). Please send suggestions as to how else I can make sure this person face justice.

I have a Dell Windows XP home, Centron, laptop that I use for general downloads. It is running slow, and I have detected some viruses that Norton can't get rid of. Although very slow, it seems to work for the internet and Word. Since this is my "play" computer, I just want to start from scratch and reinstall Windows using the Dell disc provided.

BUT, The reinstall will not go forward. When I insert the Rinstall CD and turn the computer on, I go to Windows Setup, but I get a message "Setup has encountered a problem and cannot continue. The following status codes will assist in diagnosisng the problem (0X4, 0, 0, 0)."

I then tried to reformat C: and get a message that drive C is locked and in use and cannot be reformatted.

Anyone can help?

I'm running a Pentium D 840 3.2GHz dual-core CPU in my system, and with the fan that came with it it was running extremely hot, like in the 80's celsius without doing much of anything. SO I got a new fan - a Zalman CNPS7700 all-copper cooler. I'm also using Artic Silver 5. With the fan on max speed, the CPU still gets very hot - with a load, it will rise into the 70's C and start to climb just over 80. I've tried remounting it several times, using different amounts of thermal compound, but still it runs hot. Any suggestions?? Please????

When I try some of my emails I have to scroll from left to right. I have my screen width set on default settings. I feel if could hide my folders on the left side of my inbox I would not have to scroll from left to right on some e-mails
