His argument is that the Office of the VP is a separate office from the President. In truth, it is. The VP is the President of the Senate, and responsible for breaking all ties in the Senate. Further, it is possible that a President could and would have a VP from an opposition party. Say for example that Bloomberg enters the race with McCain or Lieberman as a VP. Say he splits the college to prevent a plurality from choosing a President Elect. Then the vote goes to the House, etc. You could have a VP who is a republican to a Pres who is a Dem. obviously, the president cannot fire the VP, nor can the president force a VP to resign. It is a point of nuance. personally, I agree that it is something that needs to be defined. Is the Office of the Vice President a legislative office, and executive office, or a hybrid of the two? It is as of yet perfectly defined, and deserves extrapolation. Should be some interesting points to look at.

Information Security

The staggering growth in communication technology and usage of Internet / other public domain channels have greatly facilitated transfer of information. However, such open communication channels have greater vulnerability to security threats causing unauthorized information access. This might lead to disclosure, modification or even deletion of classified/unclassified data files or copyright violation.

Information security deals with several different "trust" aspects of information. Another common term is information assurance. Information security is not confined to computer systems, nor to information in an electronic or machine-readable form. It applies to all aspects of safeguarding or protecting information or data, in whatever form.
