I want to get rid of Norton Spyware scan in the new yahoo toolbar, but I don't know if I need to uninstall it and then reinstall it without this feature.

1) You don't need to uninstall Yahoo toolbar.
In the Yahoo toolbar first Big Y/then you have pencil-mark/toolbar settings click on this menu click Toolbar options 4th button Anti-Spy remove this selection click OK..
Now you'll not see the button Norton Anti-Spy.
2) You'll not loose your bookmark,if you uninstall toolbar,it's only shortcut,your bookmarks are not stored on yahoo toolbar.stored on the web I think my yahoo.(even if you have another PC and log on yahoo download the Yahoo Toolbar You'll see your Bookmarks)Try it-Good-luck

Hmmm why would the bookmarks be affected by a toolbar?
