If you are talking about MSN Explorer, then the procedure to clean the history is the same as Internet Explorer but you cannot access it through the tools button in your browser like people are suggesting. Instead, if you have Windows XP, go to the start button, find settings on your list, then control panel, then look under Internet Options in the control panel. Under the general tab you will find Clear history of sites visited. If you do not want to keep a history, then change the number of days to keep the history to 0. Hope this makes some sense for you.

Download a free program called "Clean Cache 3.0" from anywhere on the web, like downloads.com. then install and use it. It erases all cookies, history, etc etc. Good program, I use it all the time to get rid of crud like cookies.
