OK, I have outlook express and when I receive an attachment, it shows up at the bottom of the e-mail, and also when I click on the paper clip in the preview panel and then choose open. Why are you so opposed to it showing up in the body (at the bottom of the e-mail) Is it that you don't want the person to see the picture until he clicks on the little paper clip

Send them as attachments.

The way they show up at the bottom of the body is an Outlook Express behaviour – they are not actually IN the body, Outlook is just being a clown and showing them to you like that. A PROPER mail client such as Mozilla Thunderbird will not misbehave like that.

Try changing the format of the e-mail to plain text, not HTML.
