My goal is to replace any series of spaces (ie. " ", " ", " ", and so on) to this: " =$A$"

Here's my code to pull that off:

It compiles just fine, but upon execution, you get this:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal group reference
at java.util.regex.Matcher.appendReplacement(Matcher.java:561)
at java.util.regex.Matcher.replaceAll(Matcher.java:661)
at Space.main(Space.java:11)
It appears the '$' in the replaceAll argument is the culprit but I need it for my work. Any help?

I have a widows 98 toshiba lap top computer. I have photos in my computer that I am unable to down load. I have a hp photosmart picture maker that I have connected to my computer. I need to know how do I down load the hp photosmart picture maker to the windows 98 toshiba lap top computer so I can take the pictures off the computer to print. So i have microsoft word, its the latest editon. When i scroll through its selection of fonts, it shows me a lot of amazing fonts that i wanna use, but when i choose them and start typing, they don't show up. What gives? THey go to some plain font like simsun or times or something plain. Is it because they're not loaded on my computor or something or do i have to unlock them?

old system that has 98/Me. 02000 and win98 on D and Windows and all other stuff on C. C has 2.98 g(s) used and 998 (m) free. On boot up it takes 10 seconds through the two black (what msdos startup?) , then jumps the slash windows well the monitor seems at times to take hard and you have heard the the drives shifting like sound. Well there not much on the D drive, but does have files 02000 and win98 with driver and such. Also Acobat,PowerQuest,symantec in a file called programs. Also wutemp, backup(which has backup..qic 1m) which can't be system right? Everythihg else and Windows is on C . It freezes it shuts off and restarts,Go black w/white cursor, will it ask to end task before shut down, Knocked off the internet then black screen to press any key to return alt/crtk/del Explorer Msnmsgr Ytbsdk Avgemc Avgcc Freeram Loadgm Winpatol Systray Wmexc at the time of Crash. I thinking it's best to link to my 360 or tripod site for all my other issues/question

I got my computer from a relative who was not on the Internet, since they didnt use the Internet they deleted the IE icon a neighbour got it on for me but i dont know how he did it, i still have it but i keep getting messages saying that page has expired what does this mean? When i download certain games like Mystic Inn and snowy lunch rush it comes up NOD3DDEVICE or something else, i cant read that because the screen goes black, i have direct x, could anyone help, I checked download.com and they have a registry check is it safe and what does it do?, can i download IE updated version for free? Recently, I purchased Buffalo WLI-CB-G54HP with an antenna.

Everything is fine. I just installed the driver, and Buffalo works well.
However, the problem is that I couldn't find any other networks although I used Net Stumbler. The only thing can be detected was my router.

So, now I feel like I did typical things that other people did.
Hmm. This problem makes me really frustrated.

Anyway, I want you guys to help me with basic things first.
Then, I wanna hear some information about wheter Buffalo is good or not.

Please!!! I think Yahoo! should filter some stupid people here. If you really want to help me, DO NOT just write a web address. If you really know a good website that has information about Buffalo, I would appreciate your effort.

Note that currently I'm at home to do wardriving. (feel like i'm not doing real wardriving. However, I could detect many wireless networks in my neighborhood.
