Steal my profile from my yahoo identity, and put this on theire own designer web page? How have they done this, and can it be stopped?I have e-mailed yahoo, and am awaiting a response. My hubby says i shouldnt have a photo of myself as this can ecourage blokes like this, what do you think, please all answers needed. What weirdo`s are on this site?

How is it possible to see your profile on someone elses web page if you dont know where to start looking?-or did these men actualy contact you to say they had stolen your id.I dont think there is anything wrong with using your own photo, as a matter of fact it should be a requirement, at least we would all know that we are talking to a male or female--or an underage child.I am still an avatar because i havent took the time to work out how to put my photo there yet.But yeah, there sure is some weirdos????

Hun, such is life, put a photo no matter what it looks like, it will end up in someones spank bank...(excuse the crudeness) this happens on msn also, it's kind of a nasty thought, but theres nothing you can do except remove it and have an ickle avatar instead...also having one of these avatar pic's can be quite amusing and take you back to the days when you used to play dress up with dolls... so it's a fun form of reliving you're childhood too.

I happen to agree with your husband about the photo, and personally think that you should be careful how much detail and info, that you display, (earlier questions about daughter and mother).
There are perverts and weirdos everywhere, not just online.

uh never never put photos of yourself on the web ever because they will be in cyber space even if you delete them i use animal photos and cartoon no one needs to know what i look like
