Companies usually start an internal network and attach all the computers in the building to a centeral hub. The "Backbone" so to speak and all the information is sorted out there before it is allowed in or out of the computers. Companies such as microsoft use a combination of software and firewalls. Among other things such as keyloggers and programs to monitor what is being done on the computer to "Spy on the employee"

I do have Zone Alarm but I hear it is terrible. I have gotten so many responses from friends that it's not good. I have a Norton firewall that I cannot shut down/off, but I think maybe in affective as well so I have disabled my ZA so there is not two firewalls going..Thanks
Is there no way for Yahoo to report this person? Or find out who they are and ban them??

Corporations use many different firewalls. To use a firewall for a company, one has to buy the rights to the firewall, so usually a company will buy a given number of licenses for the software and their employees will use it.

Not typically. A corporate will have a tech that will control information that users can access from one computer (usually in a locked room). That's why you only can access certain sites in many companies today. The techs usually have instruction as to what will be allowed and what won't. The firewalls are usually not on each individual computer.

Large companies use higher end equipment. Depending on how they setup their network, they can program the routers access list to deny's certain ports on a given set of ip addresses to say only allow port 80 to go thru. Some also have firewalls on top of that. I think it mainly depends on how large of a network you are talking about. When i worked for an isp, we had the routers deny's connection ports for ftp, and other server connections b4 the ubr's for the cable modems.

Perhaps not! Try using NOD32, probably the best business commercial Anti Virus based on the Threatsense technology.
Neverthless, Zonealarm does a fair job, I wouldnt recommend for businesses ;)

Depends on the place, but I would say no. Most corporations would have a hardware firewall blocking the unwanted traffic from coming into their network.

No. Really big companies have networks and protect themselves by using actual fire-walls.
