This laptop was supposed to come with no operating system ....it said it would come with a C prompt ready to install the operating system of my choice..... I put the XP home OEM disk in and I still get the C prompt. I don't know the command to run it. Help

I work for a company in which I know the business very well. I have started developing a software package that still has about 1 more year of work before I can market it. It is a tool that starting to be very resourceful around my workplace. I don't even know where to start as far as securing it so my hard work wont be stolen by the IT Dept. I love my Job and have a good relationship with everyone. I'm trying to figure out a way to make $$$ from this package and still keep my job. It is a software package that is industry specific to this company and would be of valuable to the? Any suggestions.

Everytime I open Microsoft Word, I have to go to view header/footer, put my name, indent all the way to the other side and put the date. Is there a way to make it so that everytime I go onto Word my name and date are just there by default/automatically? ThxAbunch.

The dam yahoo! home page swallowed my MSN home page and I can't get it back.Every time that I open Internet Explorer it gives me the Yahoo! home page.I didn't even click on the"make Yahoo! your home page" tab.All I did was download the tool bar.I can't even find it in a search to delete it.I always use MSN if I'm going to click on ads because Yahoo! never does anything when I report abuse but has deleted two of my answers.So I let MSN get the money from the advertisers.But anyway.HELP

For the Sims 2, I don't have the minium CPU stuff (-( I have Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 1.70GHz )-) and the required CPU is Pentium III or Athlon. I only have 1.70 GHz for CPU speed and the minium is 800 mhz with a T&L capable Video Card (2.0 Ghz without Hardware T&L Video Card). Minium RAM is 256 MB
and I only have 95.6 MB, yeah. Because of all this, will I still be able to play the Sims 2 (PC) even if I don't have all that stuff, yeah?
