I had my computer reformated recently, now when i go to forums and other sites the info wont fit on the page, i need to scroll the page left to read it...its really starting to anoy me. PLZ HELP ME

I use wireless laptop, My computer was fast, now its running really slow, When i click Wireless Network Connection, and Look under Activity, it says im sending over 10,000 files and receiving 12,000, the number is going higher and higher every second, is this why my computer is soooo slow. If so what do i do?

When i swtich to windows on my mac is says i have to activate it but then as i go through the steps it says theres no connection and automatically logs off windows, but everything else works on my mac including internet connection, whats the problem beciase it wont let me proceed..?

I am talking in terms of the good old DOS mode.

Can someone kindly tell me how does a keyboard work? For example, when I press the key "A", what really happens? What cause the letter "A" to appear on screen?

Also, if I type a word say "dir" in DOS prompt, what cause the letters to be arranged neatly in a row? Is it the DOS or is it the CPU? Why doesn't the letters appear randomly all over the black screen? Why are letters arranged in rows on the black screen?

Also, after typing the word "dir" and I press enter, how does the CPU accept the word typed?

Lastly, if I want to add my own character on the keyboard to be used, what do I need to update? The keyboard circuit only or the CPU also?

How does a keyboard work? Does anyone have any reference?

Hi,

I know this is the easiest thing to do when it comes to fixing a problem on a computer but this time it seems I am the one that needs to be replaced not the peripheral.

Do you guys know what or which is the right way to remove a fan from an AMD Athlon Processor?
I have tried one side and it seens the hook that holds it is not there. I Have tried the other side and it is soooo close to the motherboards power supply that there is no way to get screedriver in there. Who is in charge of designing this stuff? I know there is something behind in every designs for computer parts but someone forgot to leave the door open for novices. :-)

Could you provide a tutorial with images for this? Anyone knows of one?

The drivers for 1)CIF Single Chip 2)Video Controller(VGA compatable) n 3)Multimedia Audio Controller, all listed under 'other devices' in device manager r all unsigned n have no properties listed. is it safe to disable them as i THINK thats where my problems-see my previous Qs-are coming from. This pc stuffs scrambling my brains!! Basic words for this computer virgin please......just cuz ive used the recovery console (nope, it didnt solve things but at least i got back in to ask you guys!!!) doesnt mean i knew recovery console even existed before today! Hi, I have a problem, I had used my computer with just one account in the name of Administrator, I have my itunes with the ipod and the rest of my programs. My wife got an ipod for herself so I created another account for her so she can have heer itunes in her own account, the problem is that when I tried to switch to my account Administrator, it does not appear, just my wife account is in there, so I restarted the pc and now it boots in my wife account all the time, and the Administrator account does not appear in the switch user window. Can some one help me?
