This comes up when I try to go to my yahoo 360 site.

Yahoo's error 999 is usually caused by a bandwidth limit or possibly by any activity that looks suspicious from your IP address or proxy. This is a temporary problem and should fix itself if you just wait a little while before signing back on. Actually, numbers with errors are usually codes for what is wrong. Search error 999 on yahoo or google, and you will probably get a little closer to the actual answer.

The Microsoft error 999 is "Error Performing Inpage Operation". I have no idea what that means in plain English!
