What program are you using? If you are using Microsoft Word Go To
1) Format
2) Paragraph
3) Under Line spacing change it to double and it should be double spaced.

If you are using Microsoft Word you need to increase the line space. You can do this very easily by selecting Format from the main menu, then Paragraph. A box will appear and in the first tab, towards the bottom select double from the line-spacing drop-down. Voila :)

With MS Word

1.) Select the paragraphs in which you want to change line spacing.
2.) On the Format menu, click Paragraph, and then click the Indents and Spacing tab.
3.) Under Spacing, select the options you want.

Or just type Double Space in the help box!

ok!
1. Go into format (once you are in the program)
2. Click on Paragraph
3. Go to where it says line spacing
4. Click there so that you get the drop down menu of choices
5. Click on the one that says "Double"
I had a paper to do last night and I had to double space it, so I have the info you need fresh in my mind!

If you go to Format ( at the top), click on the tab for spacing in the lower part of the box and select double. It will do it for the paper... also if you have typed the paper in single space, you can highlight the whole paper and select double space, it will do it for you.

I hope you are writing it in a word processor like msword. You want to format your text. Formatting can be done after completing the typing. Type in all the text. Save it.
Then press control + A to select all text. Then In the menu bar look gor Format option, click on it, on the menu select paragraph, and in the next window, write 1.5 or 2 as line spacing value. click on apply, and ok.
You will see the changes immediately taking place.
save when you are done.

If you're using microsoft word, right click and then you should be able to choose the line spacing. Choose double instead of single.

Go to Format>Paragraph. The default should be single-spacing, change it to double.
