My old laptop is so dead, it won't even switch on. Is there any way that I can use my new laptop to get hold of the information stored on the hard drive of the old machine.
The laptops are different makes.

You know how 5! (5 factorial) is multiplying a series of consecutive intigers? I want to know if there is there a specific term for adding a series of consecutive intigers (1+2+3+4+5). What's the term, and can I program an excel cell to calculate this for an entered value? (entering 17 would give me the sum of 1+2+3...+15+16+17) If so, how?

I know I have asked so many sims 2 questions you guys think I'm a freak. But I'm not. Anyway, my question is: How do you get clothes and stuff that you downloaded online? When I got my ipod I also purchased a Wal-Mart music gift card, so that I could buy music from www.walmart.com/music_downloads without using a credit card.

I bought a few songs, but when I tried to put them in my library and convert them into I-Tunes, it said that itunes cannot convert a unprotected WMA file. In other words, it didn't work. Can I still buy music from walmart? If so, please tell me how I can convert without a credit card!

how long does it take to load the linux kernel. I sepnt like 5 minutes waiting and it didnt load. Im using the 64 bit version. im running it on a live CD. I just burnt it last night.

I keep recieving emails that look like they would be from a friend of mine (also a yahoo user) but they are obviously not from her because in the "from" area it just lists her screen name, and I have her in my addressbook by her real name (which is what usually comes up when she sends an email.) When I open the email it has an attachment that my virus scan recognizes as a virus. I did some research and found that the emails come from an isp address belonging to a company that a different friend of mine works for. Who's computer is being hacked into and how do I get these emails to stop?
