at the best about 8 or 9, the worst 1-3
dont expect much from dial up
if you get cable, you can expect around 100 or 200

1-3kb max you will be there for ever. basic cable goes about 16kbs and dsl can go as high as 4-5 hundred kbs

SLOW at best. Very slow if you're donwloading from someone elses 56k modem.
