It doesnt work. I have new basic Norton Antivirus 2006? Does that have to do with it? I also can't go to start-run. when i type regedit it say "it been used by another program". How do i get my ctrl+alt+del to go bakc to work??

Make sure you press all keys at the same time.

Norton doesn't have anything to do with this. Maybe its not done installing or installing updates. Restart and try the system again.

You are pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del simultaneously, aren't you?
Sometimes you have to press these a couple of times before they take effect.

A friend purchased Norton AV 2006 and had a heck of a time installing it -- and he's an engineer! Said there was a problem but Norton has a "fix" for it which he had to download.

Norton has pretty good support. Have you gone there?

Can you do it with another keyboard? either the keys are malfunctioning or you need to change your keyboard Language settings in control Panel....

Try CTRL-SHIFT-ESC
