Happend to me once. I went to start/control panel/java, and re installed java. Worked for me. you also need delete cookies etc etc for it to open, but you prob already know that.

I would go for the microsoft vm thats being offered, sun is slow and clumsy compared, i would say thats your problem as well, happened to me oh and another thing if microsoft vm does the trick, i have found that accepting invites and making games gets treated like a pop up happening , just hold the ctrl button when accepting invites or making game. 50 bucks says its the vm.

It may be a problem with your Java Virtual Machine program,sometimes it can mess up yahoo games, send me a mail at Bobby1kenobi@yahoo.co.uk and i will forward you a copy of windows vm machine,its not downloadable from microsoft anymore because of a dispute with Sun. I had the same problem but this fixed it.

ive just tried to logon and it lets me so nothing wrong with the web site,
you could try going onto internet options, then chosing security and setting to low, did it work before and if so what have you done since that wight of changed it?
