Go to your college bookstore and see if they sell MS Office at a discount to students. make sure it includes Powerpoint. You might also ask if your instructor can send them as a pdf. since you don't have powerpoint. Any lab at your school should have it so you can open and print the notes.

You have to buy the full PowerPoint application, but if all you need is to view it, you can download a free viewer from Microsoft at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=428D5727-43AB-4F24-90B7-A94784AF71A4&displaylang=en

That is all you will need as long as you don't have to edit the PowerPoint document.

You could buy it online, or anywhere they sell software...
But if you're on a tight budget, I would recommend downloading OpenOffice, which is an open source office suite, and is compatible with MS Office. Here's the link where you can download, and learn more about it: http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.3/index.html
