I'm trying to add a e-GeForce 3d video card to my computer so my grandson, 5 yr, can play City Life (a Sim program). I've built 2 computers so I know I can do this if I can find the answer to the PCI slot question. Also I've got to find out how to disable the integrated Video on the Motherboard.

Check the specs of your motherboard. It should be in the manual or on the mfg's website. Most motherboards made within the last 2 years are PCI 2.1 compliant. I believe to make the PCI bus truly 2.1 compliant, you have to enable the "PCI Delay Transaction" in the BIOS.

as for the onboard video
go into the BIOS and disable it there.

I suggest you refer to your motherboard manual. If you lose it, try downloading a soft copy of it at your motherboard manufacturer's site (you should know the motherboard model). I also had this problem before until someone told me to read the motherboard manual.
