call them, but be sure they don't charge you for service you aren't getting. They charged my line for 3 months after I cancelled and I'm still waiting for the reimbursement.

save your confirmation when you cancel and be prepared b/c they will bug you with special offers to keep you with them

Be very, very firm when you call. They will try everything in the book to keep you as a customer. It took me close to an hour, repeating the word "NO", over and over, to finally get it through to them that I really didn't want any of their plans.

Good luck. It took me forever. Every time I wanted to cancel I'd get another 3 mos. free. This went on for over a year. I finally got really angry because the guy asked me why I signed up if I wasn't going to use it. Duh!! So I could try it, didn't like it and wanted them to go away. I ended up having to fax them to get it disconnected.

You call them on the phone, and tell them you want to cancel it. They will try to get you to stay of course, but just be firm with them.
