i keep getting popups.they tell me to contact 5 different web sites to down load there clean up program and these popups will go away but they still have control of my computer.or they might just be blackmailing me to pat.they won,t let me get into anything that has microsoft in it. like downloading there security help.i heard i might have to wipe my hard drive to get rid of them they popup all the time like every min.i,m a senior and i love to play games but i,m on a fixed income so i can not afford much.pleaes help me thanks and god bless

I want to print like a mike tyson picture off the internet but I don't want it to be a small size and then stretch it out to fit on a 8.5x11 paper. I want to get a picture thats as big or bigger than 8.5x11 so when I print it out it doesn't come out blurry.
If the file size is to small and you stretch it obviously it will not come out to good.. so what is a good pixel I should look for when searching for images?
(i.e 643 x 394, 200 x 300)

I've recently started getting a warning window saying there is malicious software on my PC, and it gives the option of downloading a program to remove it. It appears now and then, but only when I use the Internet.
I click no, but is this a real 'Windows' warning, or is it spyware/ adware/ virus/ trojan, etc.? If it's a bad thing, what's the best way to get rid of it?

OK, Today my mom got a call, the person told her that she had won $100 and $100 off airline tickets. Now, That yes, I know is some marketing ploy for something. Now, they told her what her checking account number was and when she asked how they got that they told her "well anytime that you write checks its accessable, weather it be for food, or socks or whatever." My mom does not use checks. She ONLY uses her debit card. She pays cash for her utilities, and has no credit cards. We know this is a scam but 1) How do you think they got her checking account number? 2) Is there anything that can be done? 3) Does this sound legal to you? 4) What do you think the next step my mom should take is? She is scared to death right now because of this! Any advice?

When I got my computer, I got a free software bundle pack with PowerDVD 6 on it. When I use PowerDVD it says I have to activate it, but there was no code on the disk/packaging.

This is weird, while I was on my HP Pavilion, everything froze, then when I reset it, Window's wouldn't come on at all, I just got a black screen, yet the power seems to work , and when I press the eject button for the CD drive, it opens.

So what's wrong with my Computer?
