I get emails all the time with images in the email but I can not figure out how to do it without adding it as an attachment.

What email service are you using? They insert differently.

Copy and paste only puts in a shortcut. It does not work in Outlook Express. (that's what little red X's are from) If you are sending in HTML mode, when you click on insert it gives you the choice to insert file attachment or insert picture. If you just want the picture to show up in the body of the email, choose picture. If you choose attachment, it will attach a copy of the picture, but will also show a copy of the picture in the email, unless their email program is not set up to show incoming pictures.

Well online, I have no clue, but if you are using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, you just open up the photo in Microsoft Paint (Start Menu->Programs->Accessories->Paint) Click Edit->Select All, then click Edit->Copy, then in Microsoft Outlook (or Express) while composing your email click Edit->Paste, and it will paste it in your email. it's not possible in a web based email however if you are using outlook or outlook express or for that matter any other software based email client then you can simply copy the picutre and paste into your email.
