If I understand correctly, you just cannot print or view a powerpoint presentation you downloaded from your school. If you don't have the latest version of Microsoft Powerpoint, you can go to their website and download a free version of the reader, which will allow you to view and print *.ppt files. Let me see if I can find the link...

Here it is:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=428d5727-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en

That's the download page for Microsoft Powerpoint viewer v2003

I am guessing that the issue is you can not open and print because you do not have Powerpoint? The question is not clear what the problem is...

If you do not have Powerpoint, go to microsoft.com and search for "powerpoint viewer". You can download a free program that will let you open and print the file, but not edit it.

If that is not the issue, please post more details...

Do you have power point reader installed on your computer? If not, you need to get the power point in a PDF so you can print it that way.

Right click on it and copy the slides, so you can paste them in your own powerpoint if you can't get it to download.
