What kind of computer and its operating system?
Does everything seem to work fine other than that?
Can you run a full virus check ok?
Are there ever any error messages?

My guess so far is that when the anti spy program finds a 'problem' and tries to 'fix it' the 'problem ' rejects the spyware prog. and reboots to make it go away. If this is true, it may be difficult to find but you could try a free spyware check on the web, not from a program in your computer.
I know www.Mcaffee.com will do a free scan on the web and there are many others.
Good luck

It could be any one of a number of things. It's possible you have a virus, trojan or other unwanted program that is defending itself from the anti-spyware or it could be something less malicious such as a conflict between different programs installed on your computer.

Disable your current anti-spyware program...

< Method 1 > If there's an icon in your system tray (bottom right of the screen) then left click and select the disable / shut down / turn off option (whatever it's called).

< Method 2 > If it's not in your system tray then click on CTRL, ALT and DELETE simultaneously, this will bring up a list of everything that's currently running on your computer. Highlight the application that corresponds with your anti-spyware program and click the END PROCESS button.

< Method 3 > If you can't find it in this list then click on START, click RUN, type MSCONFIG in the box, click OK, click the STARTUP tab, find the program in the list and uncheck the tick box next to it and restart your computer. When your computer restarts the anti-virsy program won't be running.

Now try running anti-virus programs and other adware and spyware removal tools. All the ones listed below are free of charge...

Google Pack is an excellent set of programs which includes 6 months free subscription to Norton Anti-Virus as well as adware and spyware removal programs. There's loads of other stuff like the Google video player, Google Earth etc... http://pack.google.com

ok i had an similar project mate, what you want to do is ring up Norton and ask them why there software that you pay solid funds for can not discover viruses and quite has a firewall lol, what you want to do is click ctrl alt del, and then job manager if you're operating xp ok now if this hasn't been disabled search for for a software that's on the computer operating and click it if some thing you have not accepted to be open is then click end job, now what you want to do is click run and kind in MSCONFIG into the container now this brings up a catalogue of courses operating and in case you spot that undercover agent ware advert conscious component then click provide up provider, now try to be in a position to close this methodology with any success, ok now attempt out avg anti virus it truly is loose i'm utilising it in the present day and that i imagine it truly is solid it stops alot of viruses and Trojans coming by and it heals them if it exhibits some thing, if there any extra issues then enable me recognize and that i receives again to you once plausible

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
