it has a svideo connection and when i bought the computer the store employee said i could work it that way but everytime i try it tells me no camera is connected and to check my settings please help

i dont know why but all of a sudden, when i am connected to the internet but not using anything, the connection icon in the taskbar is always blue. It seems something is using my connection. Everytime I installed Windows XP Pro and Home, the space in my Drive C: get lesser. How do I prevent from getting low spaces? I installed the Windows ME, it doesn't take up my space. Windows ME can be instaled in DOS but why Windows XP cannot installed in DOS? Is there anyway to get through it? I need a best answer please. Thanks.

It keeps logging me out. I need to be able to refer to emails several times during the day. I checked the "Options" and there is no option to "Stay Logged In". The main login screen has option for "Public or Shared Computer" and "Private Computer". I selected Private Computer thinking that would make it stay logged in but still it logs me out once every 30 mins or so. How to fix this?
