Look at the size of your PowerPoint presentation. It may be larger than the capacity of the floppy disc. Especially possible if you are using some fancy effects, or if the floppy disc is a recycled one and does not have a large capacity. Most of the ones around are 1.4 MB, but there are smaller ones. Throw those in the trash.

You may need to burn a CD for your PowerPoint. Sorry.

could be your floppy disc is not yet formatted, format the floppy first and before you copy the presentation to your floppy make sure that the capacity of the floppy is enough. best way is to write it in a cd or use a flash disc instead if your pc supports it. we already are in a modern time, nobody uses floppy disc anymore i think.

Make sure you are actually trying to save to your floppy diskette, not a CD or anything else. Usually your floppy will be the A or B drive. If you are sure you are trying the right place, then go into My Computer and right click your floppy drive and tell it to format, then go back and try to save again. Also make sure that you do not have the switch on the diskette set to be write-protected.

Your presentation exceeds the maximum capacity of the 3.5 inch floppy disc (1.44MB).

Burn the file onto a CD-R or reduce the size of the file.

WOAH ok this shows how long we've been out of practice with floppy disks. you need to format the floppy disk. you can do this by going to my computer, right clicking the floppy disk icon, and selecting format from the drop down menu. once formatted the floppy should happily gobble up your ppp.

Most people now a days dont use floppies. Defiently you dont have enough room on it, You either have to burn it to a cd or you possibly could try to winzip the file and then save it but best bet is to burn it to a cd.
