standard the HP laptops are particularly good. And help is advantageous on them. i does no longer say they're the appropriate yet i did own one some 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and it grew to become into ok. I had a no longer user-friendly force bypass out and it took HP very almost a month to repair it. So I have been given mad and make the change to Apple after having virus subject concerns. And guy can Apple make a competent computing device. they're relatively freakin speedy, risk-free, virus unfastened, mac is rather user-friendly to apply, Mac is mild-weight so which you would be able to run extra classes, crash evidence, and that they arrive put in with very almost each software anybody could choose. Dude do no longer make the blunders I did and waiste money on a HP. purchase an Apple they are going to final you invariably!

Hi, If the Video is on your Camcorder and your Camcorder is a Digital Camcorder(Mini DV,DV or Digital 8) then you connect the Camcorder to your PC useing a Firewire Cable in your PC"s Firewire port...

If your Camcorder is analogue (Hi8,VHS-C,S-VHS) then you will have to have an analogue Capture device in your PC to capture Video and you hook the Camcorders S-video or RCA outputs into the Capture devices Inputs...With S-video you also have to have the audio going going from the Camcorder to the Capture Card or to your Sound card to capture Audio....

There is absolutly no way to Get Analogue Video on your PC without a Capture Device of some sort...There are several Types of USB 2.0 capture devices that you can use that aren"t very expensive but for the Most part USB capture devices aren"t very good and Laptops aren"t Ideal for Video capture because you generally should have a second large Fast hard Drive dedicated to Just Video Capture and Laptops usually only have One Hard Drive that is slower than Standard PC Drives.....

its usuallly a plug and play thing, but if its not working download a software called windows media decoder, and this usually lets you extract videos from cam corders into computer into digital clips.

You usally get this software with windows media player. Its free of cost get it from www.download.com.

However if camera is not being detected your svideo must be busted or otherwise the cable. try using a new one.
