This is something that has baffled me for the longest time. Winamp was around for five years before the far inferior iTunes came along - and yet, everyone uses it, and seems to love it.

Can anyone example to me why anyone would want to use iTunes instead of Winamp, given the choice?

Please note: Winamp has full support for iPods.

Winamp can also do approximately 15 things iTunes can't, and everything (well, 98% of its features) better than iTunes.

I konw is illegal to copy DVDS protected, but i just want it for home, I rented Movie but i don't know what software can burn them. I want to copy them with my laptop. I have sonic.Tell me which is best and faster to burn dvds protected.

When I turn on my computer and Windows starts... An error window pops up and says"...file MSVCR71.dll not found. Reinstalling the application may solve the problem." I'm not sure what that means.

Looking through magazines and official sites, I see prices in the hundreds for such things as CS2 Adobe illustrator or photoshop.

However looking in E-bay, or elsewhere, the prices vary from that down to a few quid.

Same with microsoft word/excel etc. Every computer I've ever had has always had these on it, yet prices for even older versions always seem very high.

so what's going on?

Hi I have a question. I had a few collectible auctions a while ago that a buyer won. However, when I went to send her an invoice, it said that she was suspended. So I waited a few days and got my listing fees back and relisted the items. Ten days later, she messaged me asking where her items were. I said relisted, since she was suspended and I had no idea for how long. Now she is saying that is unfair and that she deserves the items? But there was no way of sending her an invoice? Who is right in this case? She is being very mean and combative? thanks

half of the icons in my systray. If I go back and do a restart again the whole set of icons reappear. I ran msconfig to disable some of my starup programs but some of the icons I wanted disappeared while some of the icons I didn't want remained. How could I print out a copy of the startup programs so that I could learn more of the details about each one? There is no menu item for "print" and the printscreen key does nothing.Please help!

I have Chessmaster 6000 installed on my laptop, and i am trying to uninstall it. First off, when i first installed it, there was a power surge and it was not installed correctly. Then, when i tried to run the natural uninstall part of the program, it opened a window called "open" and is attempting to search for something called INSTALL as a file type of "Installation logs." Now, when i try and go to the Add or remove programs portion, it still does not work; i get the same window as before. How can i remove this troublesome program from my harddrive?

hopefully this is the right place to ask this. I am working on writing a story and I was wondering if there was a way to make notes within my writing that doesn't actually show up in the document (sort of like post-it notes stuck on a page?) so that I don't lose something that I'd like to add later.
Of if you have any ideas on how to take notes or something. *shrugs* I'm open to any suggestions really.
