Because, if you set your system to accept EVERY pop-up, that is ALL you would see.
To see what you want, you can set it to where Yahoo pop-ups will be shown, OR, better, when you click on something like that, hold down the control key, as well.

You can set your security to block pop ups. You can click on Tools, Pop-up blocker and then turn off the pop-up blocker or tell it from which sites you want to be able to view pop-ups.

You may want to try these freeware programs that have and currently are working well for me. Antivirus : Avira antivir Spyware : Spywareterminator Browser : Avant Google them for your own research. Install them and you shouldn't have anymore problems. Good Luck!!

Do you have any idea what it would be like without popup blocker? You wouldn't be able to see what you wanted too on certain sites....you would be too busy closing out windows....Be happy for Popup blocker...and click on the yellow bar when you want to see your popups!!! :^)
