are you getting error messages?

There might be an error with your Internet Explorer.

Trying downloading other browsers.

such as:
- Mozilla Firefox
- Maxthon
- Opera
(just try a Yahoo! search)

Using the other browsers download updates for Internet Explorer at the microsoft site - this should make it up to date. Perhaps also try Internet Explorer 7

bcz it's contaminated.
I just tried to fixed mine (I've done it twice before). But, you need your SP2 disk to finish it (that's what I'm waiting for now). Here's the steps you follow:

1. Double click My computer.
2. Choose Tools tab.
3. Choose Folder options.
4. Choose View tab.
5. Check the box in front of "Show hidden files and folders".if it's not already checked.
6. Click Apply and Ok (apply may alread be chosen).
7. Now click start and choose Search, select For Files
or Folders.
8. Type the file name as IE.inf and click Search
button.
9. Once the file is found, right click on the LOGO at the beginning of it (and a drop-down menu will open...when you see the word "Install"...click on that to REinstall it FRESH.
10. This will reinstall the Internet Explorer.

Like you, I also couldn't find an answer to this question.

What did I do? I switched from IE to Firefox - end of problems! Web pages load faster now and I haven't had any problems with malicious websites since I switched over.

I've been to the msn forum about this problem and it seems that microsoft is aware of it and is trying to create another SP that will take care of the problem. Here is the forum site:

Hope that helps.
