I have to turn it on manually everytime I on my laptop. And it's turn off by itslef after a couple of minutes.
I'm using thinkvantage access connection, an winxp home edition.
It's very annoying, please can anyone help me.

It may just be your router....I can see how that would be annoying...I have nuffin to tell ya but to keep repairing your signal when you get kicked off...

You may be getting interference from something else: another wireless router, a cordless phone, a microwave oven. There are 11 channels wireless B/G uses. See what other wireless routers your computer detects and what channels they're broadcasting on. If your wireless signal drops whenever someone turns on the cordless phone, try a different channel (cordless phones generally use the lowest channels). If it drops when someone uses the microwave, try a lower channel (microwaves cause the most interference on channels 8-11).
