I had a few auctions that someone won, but before they sent payment, it said theyre no longer a registered user. I tried messaging them through Ebay with no response. Should I file a dispute to get the listing fees back? Wait for payment? Relist the items?

I just started working as an application support analyst for internals users. What would be a good forum to join to gain and increase my knowledge and share ideas.
Mainly about software and hardware. Networking wouldn't hurt either.Mostly dealing with windows problems and troubleshooting.

I was an evaluation tester for a program called "Socket Shield". This company Exploit Prevention Labs., believes that no spyware or antivirus progam can protect you from the so-called, "Dooms Day Attack".

Had no problem or conflicts with Windows XP Prof., on my system while testing this software.

For being one of many testers they have given six months free use.

All you experts out there, do you think this is a program that can really protect you from the unknown or just a scare tactic to get the lay person to purchase. (Myself I have no intentions to purchase). As I don't see what purpose this software can do that may to protect you from an unknown threat.

Help (Yahoo!)suggest(s)thing's to check-POP3 email client(if receiving but cannot send-is viewing from e-mail page(s) sending?).May need to change to Port 587 when sending(I don't knowwhether if Yahoo!'snewscomes from SMTP server or not.

i unplug my modem, and after a few seconds plug it back in again, click start, click run, and type in netsh space int space ip space reset space resetlog.txt. I presume this resets my ip address this seems 2 work for a certain amount of time, by this i mean i might get an hour or 2 out of it before it switches off again. Please help, it's costing me plenty in phone calls

I downloaded and installed a Programme called 'Lock My Folder 1.50' which is a good programme to safely lock your important data files, folders and hard disks.

One of my friend had recommended this to me and I was using trial version when the problem started.

I downloaded the Programme in my D Drive and installed the programme Lock My Folder in the D Disk itself.

And when I wanted to test the programme, I made the mistake of locking the D Disk itself.

Now when I start my computer and double click on D Drive, it says ACCESS DENIED.

I am not very good with technical things, can someone please answer me in easy to understand, stepwise instructions how can I unlock my Hard Disk 'D' now please?

A patient answer and resultant help would be very sincerely appreciated. I really need help here.
