in windows xp is there anyway to bypass the log in screen when logging onto the computer? there's only one person using the computer so it jst seems like a waste of time

go to control panel>users

now click on change an account. now set the password as blank and restart. You may also have to modify 'change the way a user logs on and off'

Im in the same position ,ive tried and tried and it just says there has to be at least 1 administrator ....i will look forward to your answers and hope someone knows how to do it !

1. Go to control panel
2. Click on user accounts
3. Uncheck welcome screen box
4. Click "apply options"
