Help (Yahoo!)suggest(s)thing's to check-POP3 email client(if receiving but cannot send-is viewing from e-mail page(s) sending?).May need to change to Port 587 when sending(I don't knowwhether if Yahoo!'snewscomes from SMTP server or not.

I do not expect,given description,I would have any idea9s) of POP3 oR port 587-so why would I click this link anyway?
I am using Windows 98SE-but cannot rely on support as Microsoft no longer support's Windows 98...

Hard to understand your question. If its how to setup a email client for yahoo email, then for the free email you need ypops http://www.ypopsemail.com/ make sure you are using the old version not beta of email if using beta switch back to old. The instructions for the email client setup is on the ypops site
