I am thinking about getting a laptop, the one that I am looking at comes with a built in Wireless LAN... What is this?
I know that it is used to get internet, but do I have to pay monthly for it? Do I need a seperate internet provider as well? I am just confused as to how this works, Im sure Ill find out when I actually go to the store to buy it... but I wanted to find out a little information beforehand. Thanks!!

I just want to know what Quark is and how it is different that the Adobe programs like Photoshop, In Design and so on. I would like to know what it is capable of and some examples of when graphic design artists would preffer either or. Thanks for your help!

Hello, im trying to sort a text field that contains both text and numbers numerically. I have

"SELECT * FROM PRODUCTS WHERE PRO_TYPE = TYPE_ID ORDER BY PRO_NAME ASC"

My products that are displaying display as....

1, 11, 12, 2, 21, 22.... Instead of , 1, 2, 3, 4, ....

Any ideas?

Specifically, my new Macbook Pro arrives tomorrow for me to edit on using Final Cut Pro (I am pretty much new to macs).
