Does anyone know of a website that offers comfirmation of when the recepient views emails sent to them?
I know neither yahoo or MSN does.

If you have a site that will allow you to use Microsoft Office - Outlook or Outlook Express ( the free mail program that came with windows) then you will be able to mark your outgoing mail with "Return Receipt" The ability to do this is encoded in the header of the mail.

It could be that yahoo, hotmail, etal, find it more likely that people would use this function and not erase the notification once

It is possible in mail clients like outlook, you have to on the checkbox for receiving receipt and read notifications.
