I want to put a table of contents in for a business report that I am writing in Microsoft Word. I have tried using "Insert - Index & Tables" but all i get is an error message (i have tried just inserting and also hilighting my text before doing this and neither works!!)

how do i do a content table, including page numbers (preferably that update automatically)

I've used tools>internet options>content>autocomplete>clear forms>clear passwords>unchecked auto complete boxes in order to clear my history, and it works great. However, if I re-check the boxes, everything comes right back. I want to *permanently* delete this info, especially on websites that show my login name. The way it is now, anyone can go to the *tools* setting, recheck the boxes, and get my info. How can I fix this?

I prefer not to use any specialized programs that I would have to download. Thanks!

I'm still having problems with my Edit Bar on Netscape. I can't do IE, since I lost the connection six weeks ago almost, due to freezing/failure problems and can't upgrade it, since I don't have OS X or higher. I can't do Firefox, due to OS X or higher. I've heard Icab and Mozilla 1. Any others to use temporary that'll work on the Edit Bar before I get my new computer after Labor Day?

"Seagate Momentus™ Series External Mobile 2.5" and a "Seagate Barracuda™ Series External 3.5". I know the former says it's portable and the latter one says isn't, but is it possible that i can take the latter external hard drive, go over to my friend's pc and download stuff from his pc into my external hard drive, go back to my pc and download stuff on my external hard drive back to my hard drive on my pc? Can I do that with both types of external hard drive?

I'm trying to find a new desktop. It needs to be compatable with my mp3 player. My mp3 player requirements are

Microsoft® Windows® XP (Service Pack 1 or higher) / XP 64-bit
Intel® Pentium® II 350 MHz or AMD K6-2® 450 MHz (Pentium III 450 MHz or higher recommended for MP3 encoding)
64MB RAM (128MB recommended)
USB 1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended for faster transfers)
170MB free hard drive space (more for audio content storage)
CD-ROM drive with digital audio extraction support

I have no idea what all of this means. Do most new computers have these components? I can only spend about $600-$700. Any suggestions,help or info will be greatly appreciated. thanks
